There are many people struggling to survive on the State pension and in order to continue helping them we need to bring in more funds.  Here are some examples of how we could use your money to help an older person:

• £50 provides an essential item (such as repairs to a cooker)
• £60 provides a bedding pack
• £250 provides support for a year
• £5,000 would enable UBS to provide support for life

Without donations we would be unable to continue helping the many older people in desperate need throughout the UK.  Please help if you can by supporting us; all donations will be gratefully received and acknowledged.

As we are sure you can appreciate, as a charity we benefit hugely from those people who support our work on a regular basis. It enables us to plan our activities more readily and with greater confidence. The more money we raise, the more older people we can support. Any contribution, large or small, would be appreciated immensely.

Christmas cards

We are happy to present the UBS Christmas card for 2007, which is available to purchase now! The buying and selling of cards is a wonderful way to increase awareness of our special charity as well as enalbing us to continue raising much-needed funds. Indeed last year this activity rasied more than £2,300 towards our work.

Our cards are sold in packs of 10 at a cost £3.50. Please contact our Head Office on 020 7605 4263 should you wish to place an order and we will be happy to send out your cards to you. Payment can be made by posting a cheque to our main address, or by credit or debit card over the telephone.  

Gift Aid

As a UK taxpayer, your donation can be treated as Gift Aid.  This increases your donation by 28% without any extra cost to you.
