There are many people struggling to survive on the State pension and in order to continue helping them we need to bring in more funds.  Here are some examples of how we could use your money to help an older person:

• £25 provides a winter food hamper providing essential store items and treats
• £60 provides a bedding pack to help guard against freezing temperatures at night
• £250 covers the recruitment and administration costs for 60 new volunteers 
• £1,000 would enable UBS to host a seasonal social event for up to 250 older people

As we are sure you can appreciate, as a charity we benefit hugely from those people who support our work on a regular basis. It enables us to plan our activities more readily and with greater confidence. The more money we raise, the more older people we can support. Christmas cards

The images below, show a selection our stock of UBS Christmas cards, which are available to purchase during the year. The buying and selling of cards is a wonderful way to increase awareness of our special charity as well as enalbing us to continue raising much-needed funds. Indeed last year this activity raised almost £2,300 towards our work.

Our cards are sold in packs of 10 at a cost £3.50. Please contact our Head Office on 020 7605 4263 should you wish to place an order and we will be happy to send out your cards to you. Payment can be made by posting a cheque to our main address, or by credit or debit card over the telephone.

As a UK taxpayer, your donation can be treated as Gift Aid.  This increases your donation by 28% without any extra cost to you.
