2007 is an exciting time for UBS. Not only is it our 150th anniversary but we are expanding too!
This year we have made a revolutionary step during our 150th anniversary by making a dramatic increase in our capacity to deliver pastoral care and friendship to beneficiaries, whilst greatly increasing the number of older people we support.
To make this a reality, we are developing a vast increase in the number of volunteers we have and capitalising on the range and versatility of our volunteering roles. These are focussed on delivering services to the people we help (befriending, driving and knitting schemes) and supporting our vital fundraising activities. Our expansion will be supported also by improving our long-term fundraising capabilities and by developing our ability to process effectively the services we deliver to our beneficiaries.
